Question- What are the various Check-in formalities that I have to keep in mind while reaching the airport?
Answer- One should always remember the timings and the duration to get the check-in formalities done. For indigo airlines, it starts 2 hours before the scheduled flight timings and one has 1 hour and 15 minutes time to get it done.
For passenger�s convenience, online check-in is also possible now days which saves a lot of time and makes one free from several hassles like standing in long que�s etc. Also one needs to carry some important documents like copy of his itinerary and identification proof along. The name on both of these documents should be the same, failing which a passenger can be denied to board the flight.
Question- Which all items shall I avoid to carry while travelling by Indigo air flight?
Answer- Indigo Airlines allows its passengers to carry the check-in baggage up to 20kg per person upon which Rs.100 per kg is charged. One can not avail the baggage allowance against the infants. The cabin baggage is allowed depending upon the space availability in the bins constructed overhead the seats. The products that one should avoid carrying while travelling through Indigo Air flight are as follows:-
� Dry cell batteries or any sharp tools or explosives in any form.
� Toiletries, liquid items, soaps, gels, pastes and medicines beyond the permitted limit.
� Deeply refrigerated, poisonous, flammable and non flammable gases.
� Corrosives like mercury, wet cell batteries, alkalis, acids and apparatus.
� Flammable solids and liquids.
� Radioactive material or briefcases with alarm devices.
� Peroxides and bleaching powder.
� Infectious and poisonous substances.
� Any mammal or animal or bird.
It is always recommended by the Indigo Airlines to carry any valuable or precious items like jewellery, camera�s, money, electronics etc in the cabin baggage. Indigo also facilitates its passengers to carry his wheelchair, crutches or any other prosthetic devices which are required all time and cannot be left out.
Question- Specify some special qualities of Indigo or the amenities provided by Indigo considering which I can temp myself to travel via Indigo only?

Question- Can I expect an intimation note from Indigo in times of cancellation, rescheduling or Delays?
Answer- Yes, if Indigo has the mobile number of the passenger, then the same is being intimated to him. But sometimes it may happen that due to some beyond control circumstances like weather, air traffic, terrorism, strikes or riots the flights are delayed, cancelled or rescheduled or the arrival destination or the route is being changed. But though this change does not incur any damage to the passengers or any other person, thus no prior intimation is given in such cases.
